Mix in Islam, Saudi, Money, Britian, Racism and what do u get?!?! A press frenzy!! Have you ever just browsed through the net then stopped browsing looked at the screen and went “huh?” followed by a “That’s a damn lie!!!” let me explain…

The King Fahad Academy is a Saudi funded school that teaches the British curriculum and the Saudi curriculum (not as in depth, but it suffices) there are other schools all over e.g. ISU in Washington. It was initially established to offer both educations to Saudi diplomat’s children and then expanded to include Arabs and Muslims. Now my lovely school, which I left in 99 after 12 years of studying there, has been under attack in the press because…hmm well there is no one reason really. It started when a teacher Colin Cook, who taught my brother btw :P decided to take legal actions against my school after being dismissed in 2005. Honestly I don’t really care if he wins or not he feels he was unlawfully dismissed that’s his problem and he has to deal with it, BUT to drag my schools name through the mud?!?! This is what happened…

Islamic school poisons students
Apparently the school spends all its time teaching us that Jews and Christians are pigs and monkey and are favorite question is… “What other awful characteristics do they have?” That we are brainwashed into becoming racist against anything that is not Saudi or Arabic, so you can see how I would take this personally seeing as being a KFAer I therefore am a racist.

Books
A book, which the teacher had translated for his case, stated that Jews and Christians are swine’s and apes and that students had been taught this. That the books are a reflection of Islamic views and Saudi wahhabism seeing as they are part of the Saudi curriculum. Well this is all new to me the only thing we learnt there was ABOUT Islam not lessons on how to disrespect others, but hell maybe I was absent that day?

No child within the King Fahad Academy has ever been taught that Jews and

This footnote has been misinterpreted. It is attached to a story that
pre-dates Islam which in essence says that ‘those who transgress on the Sabbath’
will be punished by God.

The Quran should be updated
Umm ok please, please, please get this through your head and let it stick there, THERE IS NO EXPERATION DATE ON THE QURAN!!! You see seeing as some higher being (being saracastic here) decided to translate the Quran as he sees fit there has been comment after comment deciding that the Quran needs to be updated to fit the 21st century.

Religious Studies
KFA has NEVER claimed to teach religious studies, it teaches Islamic studies only, you don’t like it GO TO ANOTHER SCHOOL.

Tit for Tat
Some ignorant British woman (who lives in the middle east) claimed that since we force foreigners to abide by the Saudi curriculum here, then Saudi’s in the UK should abide by the British curriculum. I’m thinking the woman was high when she commented, but let me explain anyway. KFA teaches BOTH and focuses on the British and as for the American’s and Brits being taught the SC here, you’ve got to be kidding right?!?!

So lets see because of this teacher we’ve had attacks on our morals, on our beliefs, on the validity of the Quran, on Muslims in the UK, on harboring terrorists, on Saudi education (ding!! ding!! ding!! ding!! We’re changing that anyway DUH) oh yeah on graduating by cheating (they failed to mention its in reference to the last couple of years and not all graduates), and lord knows what else. So who’s getting harmed? Well think about it, would you hire someone who graduated from a hate oriented school? When your reply to the question “What school did you go to?” is “KFA” and the response is “Oh that racist school?” wouldn’t you get pissed off? When students get verbally abused and parent physically so, wouldn’t you want to do something about it? Yet I see no outrage, from KFAers yes but what about the rest? the Saudi embassy? ISU? Our former school heads? Dr. Ibtisam? Dr. Qusaibi? And so many others who are simply allowing the press to steamroll us.

Just so you know the school has been investigated and cleared but of course the press hasn’t made a meal out of that fact. Ah well dont let the truth get in the way of a good story…

Now, I'm guessing this is a taboo subject right? No? Doesn't matter I'm posting it. For those who have no clue what I'm talking about and yes I would be one of you a few years back, there seems to be a social rift in this lovely society. The Demi-gods who can do no wrong and are above reproach and regular regulations (Those of tribes) and the Arab Vikings who rape pillage and are slowly infesting society with their corruptness and lack of morals (Those of none). "Could this be??" you ask? Well actually no but there are a select bunch of messed up idiots who believe so. "In a land where racism does not exist??" you'd think so wouldn't you? Ah but alas though we know it to be wrong we do. As you would expect there are the extremist of the tribals who would rather be caught dead then be associated in ANY way with a non-tribal and the extremists of the non-tribals who simply detest tribals for being what they themselves cannot be. Damn I cant feel the love no more...

So lets clarify...

People would have you believe that non-tribals are lesser beings here in Saudi, actually let me quote some asshole from Jeddah

You see the assumption is made that the non-tribal are a bunch of heathens who will eventually corrupt and/or destroy Saudi society simply because they do not belong. Here's the thing, non-tribals are regular people with job's, families and yes morals, it may come as a surprise to you but a large percentage have roots. The only difference, they choose not to abide by archaic rules that have no bearing on how well a suitor or a person is. Some simply don't track their family tree and leave it at that, others find it ridiculous that they must divorce and break up families in order to marry into the right social sale. My point is, people need to stop assuming things about others, and NO ONE is superior to any other being and especially not because of what roots he/she has. For Gods sake non-tribals aren't the boogie man, come to dilute your thoroughbred blood!!

Non-tribals with issues...
It really does become pathetic at this point, you have people who will falsify roots, sometimes names in order to fit in. This is where pity kicks in, the need to be acceptable is human but come on!!! That's just taking it a bit too far, what the hell is wrong with being who you are? Exactly what's shameful about that? Don't you honestly think we're taking peer pressure a bit too far, people are paying millions to falsify records and for what? To feel like you belong LMFAO someone seriously needs to look up the word self-esteem. One of the first things you learn as a Muslim is equality, and yet here of all places we see distinct boundaries being laid and assumptions being accepted blindly.

We are teaching children and ourselves to distinguish between two sets of people who are equal, we're teaching them to BE racist on the bases of something that is of no ones control. Some people are so into this shit they would have you believe that there is a separate heaven for them, hmm must of lost that copy of the Qur'an then, must have been the same copy that mentioned only those of equal tribes to marry. People this is ridiculous, a person can marry whom they please, but don't use roots as an excuse. No one is better then the other, we should be learning to be better not walking backwards to a time when we were simply ignorant.

So to those of you who agree with our ignorant 7igazi, go to the corner and shoot yourself in the head, you're only infesting people with your mental disease...

To those who think they are better then anyone else because they were born into a family with history and roots in Arabia, get a life... no seriously get your own life.

To those who believe they have a right to lie because it's the only way to be accepted, wake up!! A better tolerant generation is taking over.

To those who simply think this whole thing is ridiculous like myself, kudos to you.


On a personal note, I don't care who or what you are, if I like you or respect you its because of you and nothing else, not your family name or lack of it. Half the time I forget people's last name anyway, I've luckily never met an extremist on either side and hadn't heard of this whole issue till after living over a year in Saudi. As for the statements above, I want you to tell me honestly what you thought of the first then the second... I want you to open the comment link tell me what you thought with brute honesty.
