We are one of the wealthiest nations and yet we sit and do nothing...
I'm still in shock...
We sit and do nothing?!?! Till when? What exactly is the casualty number that is unacceptable, where we move, take action, anything god damn it but we do SOMETHING, because to me 1 is to much, one innocent soul is too much
And yet 300 are dead...
Nothing
We wait for the UN to condemn, well so what? Nations agree that this has to "halt" and then? No, I'm talking about us, Arabs, the bunch of cowards sitting afraid to do anything because we might upset our "Western Friends" and so we sit and wait for more bodies to pile up, the streets to keep running red simply because we are spineless.
Put yourself in their shoes...
Your country is being violated, your family, your people slaughtered, and you fight but it's not enough it'll never be enough, but you keep going because you have to believe it will make a difference. You have to hope or else all is lost and you give in, land of your fathers and forefathers everything that you are, were and will be. Yet you know that others sit by and watch, accepting what your eyes cannot accept. Help is there, victory is there and yet it's being withheld, it's within arms reach but not being offered, why? Fear? Self preservation? Yet people dare to sit and let this happen, can you imagine that utter helplessness? That anger? That hurt?
That pride?
All of those emotions rampaging in you, your heart gripped in a fist of emotion so hot it burns your throat, and all you want to do is scream let out that pain let out that anger!!
Shame on you, and me for letting this happen...

Agree with your comments. It was very sad the other day to open the paper and see a father holding his 4 year old daughter’s dead body in his arms. They are saying they are targeting Hamas yet innocent people are getting killed.
Coming from Australia we are a small country in statue and our previous government was in bed with the Americans. Our Prime Minister’s head was so far up George Bush’ ass that if Bush was shot in the stomach then he would have been shot in the head!!! We went to Afghanistan and Iraq because of them and what purpose has that served? 80 of us killed in Bali (it was Australia’s most popular holiday destination) as revenge attacks. We supported the American’s in hope that they will support us in a time need but they have shown if there is nothing in it for them then they will not help.
It was no surprise to hear yesterday American supporting Israel. Of course they would since there is a major Jewish influence in the states. And what else do we hear yesterday? American wants to send ex-Guantanamo Bay inmates to Australia!!! If they are good enough to come to Australia then they are good enough to go to America. Why should we accept their dirty work?
You always hope that a new year will bring peace to the world but it is very hard to see that happening this year.
Well first of all, why are you blaming yourself for what others are doing? and why do you think it's civilians faults for letting this happen to thier fellow palastinian people? anyway, this is the fault of the palastanian goverment, why doesn't they don't stand up for thier people. They were warned.

The saddest part is the muslim world isn't united. Makes me wish we had one 'Khalifa'for the whole muslim ummah. A man of utmost integrity and who knows what the burden of leadership carries with it and his responsibilities.
There wouldn't be politics between the different muslim countries and the vested interests of their leaders. Just one voice, one anger and one resoultion from the entire Ummah. 'Stop it or we WILL!' I gaurantee you EU or the G8's of the world wouldn't stand a chance against them. They would take us more seriously.
